Kaizen Program
Introduction
With the intention of developing the Small and medium entrepreneurs of the Gampaha district this pilot project was started by the National Productivity Secretariat collaboration with the District Secretariat Gampaha.
Started on: - The first awareness program on 5S system was conducted on 27th March 2010 at the Human Resource Training Centre of –Yakkala. This was organized by the National Productivity Secretariat.

Team along with the deputy director of the National Productivity Secretariat visits the working premises for an observational visit to identify the current situation.The approach was to give an idea about the productivity tools according to the level of each organization.

Preparation of DVD to show the current position of organizations

iv Step -Give an opportunity to implement 5S system and observational  visits to public & private sector organisations to get an idea on their success.
v Step - Opportunity to participate for APO training programs and E-learning programs.

-Once a month follow up session by the team.

-To create visual boards on “Kaizen Entrepreneurs” to maintain the identification and haughtiness of the organizations.

-Observation field visit by the National Productivity Secretariat.
